I am very interested in enrolling in this course, but have a few questions:
1. What books are needed for this course?
2. Is ICD-9 and 10 included in this course?
3. What is the length of time it takes to complete the course?
4. Upon completion, would a student be ready to take the exam?
5. How quickly can I enroll and begin?

Thank you , ( was not sure where to post this )

Thanks for your interest.

Books needed for 2015 - 2015 CPT Manual (professional version), 2015 HCPCS Manual, ICD-9 Manual (any year after 2012)

ICD-9 is taught in the course for this year and you get a free add on course for ICD-10 that we reccomend you do after getting your CPC

It usually takes 4-6 months to finish depending on how much time you have to devote to studies. We've had some finish in 3 but the average is 4-6.

Upon completion of the course and Blitz review with a few timed practice exams you will be ready for the exam.

As soon as you click the Add to Cart button and checkout you are taken right to the student membership area to begin the course (we scan the first chapter in so you can get started). With in 12-24 hours you will be sent your official welcome emails and documents and your textbook/workbook will be ordered to be drop shipped to you within 5-10 business days from the AAPC.

And if you haven't had medical terminology you should add that in as well - we have developed a schedule where you can do both courses side by side.

Good Morning Laureen and thank you as always for getting back to me so promptly. I watched the mini clip of the course and believe that this is the direction that I need to follow. I do though have some additional questions:
1. Could you please confirm what books I will receive from you and what books if any I need to have on my own?
2. In your professional opinion, is this the best course for working in a Doctor's office?
3. In conjunction with hopefully signing up for this course I have taken an online Administrative Medical Assistant course as well as in the process of a Medical terminology class.
4. Upon searching the web and trying desperately to complete a "self-guided" course that I had paid for before I found your company, I truly believe that your training is the best around.
5. I thank you for your patience and time; hopefully I will hear back asap with the answers to my questions and I can say I am ready to begin!!!!!!!!
Thank you again for your time.

Hi ...one final question, ( I promise )
What is the title/edition of the actual coding manual that I will be referring to?

I have 2014 ICD -9 - CM Professional Edition for Hospitals 1, 2, 3
Is that the one that we will be using or do I need to purchase the correct one ?
